It seems to me (from some of the un-implemented options in a Duke's command 
menu) that Tom has further plans for sieges -- like the 'surrender' option 
there now seems designed to end a siege more than anything else. I look 
forward to the day in BM when you can camp out in around an enemy city, in 
the same region, and just do nothing for a proper siege!
