Yeah...it seems to me that something can only really be considered  
abuse (in these sorts of cases) if involves doing something that our  
characters would consider insane or inexplicable--that is, something  
that has a benefit for purely OOC reasons, rather than something that  
our characters would immediately understand as having a benefit to  
themselves or their realm.
