Yes, but *I* am the Ruler, and I *know* I didn't do all that.  And  
since the regions aren't in anyone's Duchy, how was anyone else  
supposed to make the appointment?

But how does anyone else in the realm know you didn't? They all know the only way for it to happen is if you authorised it (depending on realm rulings and such) so that must have happened. Just because you might then say you *didn't* do it, doesn't change the fact for everyone else that you *must* have done it as that's the only way it can happen.
