Excellent idea, but it would require the lord to be able to build such 
temples.

Maybe a modification: If the lord is not of their faith, they will suck 
it up _if_ there is a temple?

Really, really not sure about this. Though it would certainly help.

It should, however, require a certain % of the people to be followers of 
that religion first. Then it would mix well with the above. As region 
lord, you can choose to convert or build a temple.
