Taxes don't seem to be that much easier in smaller realms than larger 
realms. Even so, the fact that you have 2000 gold from your 1500 gold 
producing regions means squat all when the rrealm next door has twice as 
many regions and is pumping out 4000 gold a week from 4000 gold regions, on 
a 2% lower tax rate, with twice as many nobles for a wider command base, 
probably more infils with it, more guys with big family gold, etc...

Conclusion? There's a reason you don't hit people twice your size.

I don't think that many people are complaning about small realms being at a 
big disadvantage, especially since one of the better suggestions I saw put 
forward was to make it easier to destroy realms as well as make it easier to 
found them (which we've now done).
