[Discuss] The best addition to BM I've seen in three years.

The recent addition of estates, oaths, and the new tax system has
renewed my love of BattleMaster. I've been thinking of what it will
cause and the Old Grehk situation made me see what this is: the supply
and demand of nobility. Noble are now an actual resource that is
needed in certain amount. Each region is going to require a certain
number of nobles or problems arise. In realms without enough nobles we
are seeing the regions fall apart from not having enough estates set
up. The obvious solution is for region lords to offer decent tax rates
to nobles outside the realm(or inside for the regions lords who are
more cutthroat). Meanwhile, realms that have too many nobles are going
to have either strained tax shares or unaligned nobles. Either way it
leads to nobles who are more likely to accept those out of realm high
tax% oath offers. Perhaps right now realm-based thinkers are seeing
problems in the system, but as an individual-based thinker, I love it.
To be strait to the point: This changes everything, and it makes life
a lot more interesting for those of us who don't have a place in the
four council positions.
I simply hope that in time the system proves to require more nobles
then there are in the system, to keep tensions on realms, lords, and
knights.
Thank you Tom!
