It becomes particularly distressing when you realize that this means  
you will be paying guild/religion maintenance fees 14 times in a  
year, rather than 12, and will *always* have to pay twice in 2-3 days  
at the end of each year and beginning of the next.

So I, too, will ask: why is this?  Why can't we just have the guild  
fees paid, say, the day before each election?
