[Discuss] Adventures taxed! Very lame...

So my adventurer has a unique item.

I can sell it for a bunch of money to some enterprising noble.

My question is: what am I going to do with all that money, since it's going 
to be taxed away? What, really, am I going to spend it on?

What incentive is there for me to do anything other than hang on to my 
unique item?
