Not to repeat what was said when that offer was made, but the judge really 
doesn't have an option saying "hand over noble X to realm Y" does he?

All you would have ended up doing would have been to force AS to lose a few 
nobles, which is hardly the end of the world.

(Never mind the fact that several "traitors" now feel undervalued for not 
having their heads demanded as well! ;) )
