This is exactly (IMHO) where most of the bitterness comes from.  When
the objective is to compleatly destroy the enemy realm, the war is going
to end with roughly half the participants very pissed off (IC, OOC or
both).

Frankly, I think it needs to be made much harder to utterly destroy a
realm, and perhaps the new duchy/hierarchy code will move things in that
direction.
