Most people just aren't going to support a protest like that.  In  
Barony of Makar, sure.  In most other realms, outlawing looting is  
going to be seen as a way to take the moral high ground, and 95% of  
the nobles are going to support it because that's what the realm's  
leadership decided.

As someone just said on IRC: most players just want to log on, read  
their orders, follow their orders, and log off.  Maybe they'll send a  
few messages now and then.  But they're not going to go against their  
leaders without a really strong reason to do so.
