make them sound more nahualt (aztec tongue).

world works basicly like ours, and modifying those variables would simply
have effects way >too confusing to bother.

>The number of planets though... well, it doesn't really matter all that
much. I mean, we have 8? A few years back, we officially had 9. Way back, we
had less. Even if >Tom decided upon a number of planets, it'd be stupid for
the whole world to suddenly know such a thing.

Having more than one sun, I agree, would be bothersome. We'd be quite likely
to have a desert environment instead of a mostly temperate one as we do. The
moons though, could easily be changed to have more than one. It would affect
the tides but that's not a biggie. If the world evolved with three moons,
people would be used to having tides that were screwy, might explain the
total lack of ship combat :)

On the whole though, I think adding a basic planetary system along with gods
would be a good idea. Gives religions something to pin their gods on instead
of them being totally abstract as they are today.

To end on a pedantic note, we still have 9 planets. Pluto is correctly
classified as a planetoid instead of a planet, however it never lost it's
status as a planet due to "tradition".
