[Discuss] Suggestion for clarifying and consolidating religions

I think each religion should have to specify a number of values, that
later cannot be changed, or can only be changed with great difficulty
(loss of followers, mostly).

Here are some sample questions and available values:
Afterlife: death, unknown, hell, heaven, heaven and hell, nirvana
(like heaven, but consiousness dissolves)
Reincarnation: yes or no
Number of deities: 1, 2,3,4-24,many,none
Additional supernatural forces (angels/demons): none, evil, good, evil and good
Sacrifices: none, animal, human, grain, gold. Note that grain
sacrifices would have a small impact on food production, since the
peasants would be burning part of it. Players would be expected to
give some of their gold to the temple, or their position in the
religion would lower in rank (make this a very slow slide).
Views toward nature: worshipped,unimportant
Views toward fellow worshippers:brotherly,competitive
Views toward priests: all-knowing mouthpieces,fellow members,deities
in the flesh
Views toward superiors (monarch, region lord):subservient, antagonistic
Views toward lessers (especially peasants): sources of income,
valuable parts of creation
Views toward nonbelievers: kill, convert, convert or kill, tolerance.
Note that tolerance will affect the below settings, probably not
allowing hatred setting.

Religions that are identical would probably realize this and start to
merge (need game code to allow religious mergers)
Religions that are opposite each other would find that their views of
each other would slide towards hatred
Religions somewhere in the middle would have some leeway in setting
their views of other religions, but they would tend to move towards
one particular stance.
