I have to say it's pretty ironic that you are using Atamara as an example of
lack of war. Sure, Abington is dead... now... but except for a brief period
(one or two months perhaps?) it has been at war for YEARS. There are PLENTY
of battles associated with this. So perhaps there's a brief moment of
peace... so? It's not a War Island, and really, there's been quite enough of
the "let's have a war" mentality on Atamara to suit, I think, anyone's
reasonable desires.

Maybe I'm wrong, maybe the entire continent will forge a utopian society
with no wars now that Abington and Redspan are gone.

But I really, really, really doubt that.
