  On the other hand, even if there are other gods, yours could easily
insist that you do not acknowledge them, consider them evil beings,
and even ascribe to it powers that it doesn't actually possess (like
omnipotence) Nothing says any  god has to play straight with it
followers, just that it has to demand worship.
