Don't think it works that way. A rubbish trail would usually be in the 
form of looking for a billion times and keep getting "can't find squat, 
try again".

I think I read that something happens to the region.. and that kills the 
trail. I just don't know what that something is. (Looting? pop change? 
or more often someone else start another hunt)
