[Discuss] More hero options: Name unique items, write last will, roleplay last living moments

There isn't much interesting about the hero class... Besides
picking up vulonteers and telling tales. But that's so insanely rare
that the hero class holds few more meaning than: not being able to do
civil work and having the risk of dying. Not really interesting... The
only reason why people pick the class is because it sounds cool (reason
why most noobs pick it instantly) or because it gives RP possibilities
(reason why some experienced players do pick it) or it adds a little
more thrill by being able to die (reason why the rest picks it).
In short, the hero class should get way more attention.

To continue the thread that I already started (check November):
I think that if you would simply drop the item on the battlefield to make it appear "thousands of years later", or simply when you give it to the killer, it would be a real loss of RP, which is in fact the only good reason to implement this: The RP behind it. And besides, we're not talking about legendary items of +5 here. Most will be lower than +2 anyway.

For starters, giving it to the killer is in fact impossible if not in a duel. On a battlefield, you just get killed by a random person, not even necessarily a noble... About adventurers finding it... I just don't like the idea because it makes the item almost impossible to find. Imagine how slim the chances are of having adventurers gathering in a region where a hero died... And the code already makes the chance of retrieving unique items by gathering very slim.

In roleplay, there would always be someone to carry the fallen body of his master away from the battlefield. Or just someone who comes to look after it after the battle is over. Otherwise heroes can never be buried, and the game shows that they always are. I guess when an item is unique, the one retrieving the body will also retrieve the precious item at the same time. So I think, to keep things simple and easy to implement in the code, that the unique item is for the family to give to a noble of their choice. Like, besides having the option of "Bury hero" also the option of "Create unique item" (and while we're at it, why not also: "Write last will" and "Roleplay last moments of life", check the Wish List on the wiki).

In addition, I really like the "roleplay last moments of life" and "write last will" options. Most players do it anyway, but go through OOC means by letting friends post it or other characters. I mean, if something is already being done but by OOC means, then why just not make it easier and give an IC option to do it. Way more regulated and a bonus to the gameplay.
