got this game figured out!" from trying to teach people when they  
really have no idea.

To stop both these types of people from misrepresenting the game to  
the newbies who will then say, "This game sucks.  I'm leaving." when  
they find out that their mentor is really just a jerk, or really  
doesn't know anything.

Anyone can send messages to newbies to help them with stuff they  
know--and they do now.  You should need to meet *some* kind of  
minimum qualification to get the rewards for it that mentors get.
