Perhaps not, but *owning* a house and the land upon which it stands,
and having a title, *does* make you a landed noble.

You have to understand that most of the people of the day did not own
the land they lived on. The landed nobles owned the land, and
everyone else was beholden to them. Owning land was *HUGE* back in
medieval times. It meant, more or less, you controlled your own
destiny, as much as anyone did in those times.
Even if it was only a 3-acre plot with a house, some grass, and a
couple of cows on it, if you owned land, and had a title, that made
you a landed noble. By the very definition of the term.
