[Discuss] New Tax System.

Dukes also have personal control over the ducal shares, which, if you can 
convince a couple of marquises (or whatever the plural of marquis actually 
is) to join and set a decent % to duchy, plus the aforementioned region 
share, means big $ for the duke who decides to withold it, or just hasn't 
set anything to realm yet. Being Duke FTW! :-)

Sounds like a feudal equivalent of a franchise to me. Of course the lord 
can't be bothered to run all his McDonalds-esque tax offices personally to 
bring in the cash from the peasants, so he gets the knights do it, and in 
return, they get to a share of the profits.
