Hopefully in the future, when the bug count has further dropped, Tom said
that he'd be willing (or has already I'm not sure) to look into a different
region control system, one being loyalty and another being fear of some
sort.
Generally a realm decides what is evil and what isn't, if some one comes in
and attempts to make a difference he has to very careful to be able to get
any where with wanting to run around killing goats, wearing it's skin as
clothing before raping his next door neighbour. For a hobby. On a daily
basis!
If such a system comes into play where a realm can choose to make the
populace like them or fear them, then I believe it will encourage realms to
be a little more different and lenient with there standards. And with this
it will be easier for a realm to decide what *it* thinks is noble, a noble
in one man's eyes could be a man, travelling to the other side of the
continent to fight a war for his ally, who comes home, knowing his men
lived, he killed his enemies and came back with gold and spent a fortune on
his peoples. Another man might see a noble as some one who kills everyone in
his way and adores witchcraft and enjoys enforcing his view of women on
everyone.
This with the ability for religions to be religions of anything and
everything will allow diversity into the game and will encourage realms to
think outside of the box of what is noble in medieval times, and what is
noble in Outer Tilog. ;-)
