Well, it will work. You've got to accept that if you want a way to keep your 
dukes and ruler totally safe, then it's going to come at a cost. In any 
case, the other guy is not just going to take all your regions (unless they 
have a good general and you have a crappy one, which is not the topic of 
this discussion), because believe it or not they'll need to do the samething 
to stop you pulling the same stunt as the one you're afraid they'll do to 
you. Sometimes you lose out because you're not prepared to make certain 
sacrifices - nothing ventured, nothing gained. Is that so hard to deal with?
