I am still not considered a "noble" and can't look at the troop leader
list, Tom has not said if this is intentional or not. I will try
becoming a lord later and see if that removes it (as I am still a
freeman). I am not sure if items are counted, I had none at the time I
became a knight.
==============
James, I've had and sold three items and had three recommendations so I
probably didn't word it very well... But one of those was a
recommendation from someone outside of my home realm and it didn't work
right. The bug is fixed now though.
Josiah, I got one item from an undead champion in Joppo during the
massive undead uprising. One from a champion in Mokut (spelling?) and
after a rather long dry spell of not finding anything to fight I hooked
up with one other person and we started doing stuff together. We were
able to get the items together for a sage and craft another item as
well.
Over all, I think the best idea is to decide if you are going to be a
hunting or a gathering adventure and maybe stick with that but perhaps
that is simply my experience and others could lend their advice as well.
