No, seriously, there should, of course, be a way to deal with him. I 
prefer the infiltrator option. Right now, of course, that only does a 
serious injury, which won't remove him from office.

However, I believe there should be a limit here. My current idea is to 
have an "inactivity" counter - if he couldn't attend to his office for, 
say, two weeks, for whatever reason, then someone can ursurp the throne, 
dukeship or what have you.

That would give you options. If he recovers, try to get him again before 
he can do something.
