That's why honour and prestige don't (necessarily) represent what
*our* characters think of other characters--they represent what all
the non-player nobles, and any commoners who pay attention to such
things, think of them. Their opinions are what the "typical" people
in such times would think--they wouldn't care so much about the
particulars of the situation.
