This is specifically about people _circumventing_ the game mechanics.

There _is no_ game mechanics for realm merger. So instead of asking 
themselves if there might be a reason why, every year or so some people 
go forward and invent some scheme to do it anyways, usually by giving 
regions away and then staging a fake war to take over the capital, which 
can not be given away, circumventing a game mechanic the _second_ time.

If they'd give half the amount of thought to whether there might be a 
reason there's no in-game way to do this that they invest into cooking 
up a scheme to do it anyways, we wouldn't have this problem.
