On a related note:
When there's a large debate in a realm there's often at least one
person saying "Stop wasting time fighting eachother - let's fight the
enemy". This doesn't actually make sense since it takes no time to
send message. How about changing that?
I'd say a scribe can probably write about 100 words a minute, if we
say an average word is 5 letters, that's 500 characters a minute. The
act of calling in your scribe, and giving the messages to a messenger
and telling him where to go probably takes about 2 minutes.
Whenever you send a message a counter is incremented by
1000+(characters in the message). (the 1000 is the equivilent
character count for the 2 minutes admin). Whenever the counter goes
over 30000 you lose an hour, and the counter is reduced by 30000. If
you don't have an hour, you could either be stopped from sending the
message that takes you over, or the counter just keeps increasing and
you get less hours and the turn change. I would prefer the 2nd one,
otherwise it stops people from being about to talk, which could be
rather boring.
It would be good if there's a way of keeping track of the value of
your counter, but I'm not sure the best way to do that.
