This is your interpretation, personnally my character Arnaud, didn't start 
to hated your char immediately, It took him some time.

After seeing them having only no loyalty for Oligarch, placing their family 
original region (Poitiers) interests higher than the realm interest. Arnaud 
had the feeling that your chars where only there to only serve Poitiers.

I personnally don't really care if you have other chars in ennemy realm,
-had great time having under my command in Oligarch Rayver Thorn even if I 
was hammering heavily Coimbra ruled by Sartan Morningstar (that is now with 
Fontan).
-I enjoyed the presence of The Emmigrant (Oligarch) that died on the field 
not sure if it wasn't  his brother The Revenger (Fontan) that killed him
-I have a great respect for Hyzer (Perdan) and Arakan (Ibladesh)  that both 
were and have been for a long Duke of their respective realm capital even if 
these realm are in war.
