Isadril was destroyed as a realm, and the city was completely destroyed. 
It went rogue, and resisted all takeovers.  It stayed rogue for a very 
long time, we're talking longer than six months at least.  (Considering 
that there were a number of elections in Ibladesh in the intervening time 
period).  After that time period Yssaria was created based on the 
previously mentioned RP.

I do not recall at all however any protests, as the city was effectively 
dead.  You must also remember that the city once was larger than Ibladesh 
city with roughly 15% more in gold income.  It was reduced to its present 
level at the time of the creation of the realm.
