[Discuss] Looting and Brutal Takeovers

The wiki page on Takeovers:
http://wiki.battlemaster.org/index.php/Takeover
states that "A brutal takeover is helped along by Looting." As far as I
can tell this was added by the person who initially created the page and
has lingered there for a while.

My experience on SWI has convinced me that this is not the case. Does
anyone else have evidence for or against this?
