[Discuss] Inactivity and taxes

I am going to say this exactly one more time. After this, everyone who 
continues to spread the false rumour that inactivity is somehow a gold 
problem for the realm WILL HAVE THE CHARACTER SAYING THAT KILLED BY 
LIGHTNING.

Inactive people do NOT cause a gold problem to a realm. The game goes to 
pains to make sure this is NOT A PROBLEM.

Not only is gold returned to the realm when someone auto-pauses, there 
are also other steps. Taxes are higher for inactive characters, so their 
gold-on-hand (and bonds) return into circulation even before 
auto-pausing. There are also other pieces of code.



I am very, very, VERY seriously pissed that this fucking rumour is still 
not dead. This is a CASUAL GAME and it is PERFECTLY OK for everyone to 
not log in for a couple days AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON. And I swear 
that I will kill characters left, right and center if I see any more of 
this "inactivity is bad" bullshit. And if I need to kick out all the 
"hardcore" players so only the casual gamers are left, than that's 
exactly what I'll do.

And this is the last and final warning I'm going to give anyone.
