Yes, I know.
Those are also *completely OOC* motivations, which our characters
couldn't care less about. Anton's prime interest at this point is
the welfare of Minas Ithil (though he's about to be going through
some changes...), not how much "fun" it might be to be observing the
diplomacy on the continent.
Unless your character is a maverick--of which there are some, but if
everyone were one, things would be far too chaotic--there will be no
reasonable way to get him or her to deliberately take actions that go
*against* the security and stability of the realm.
