[Discuss] 2 characters in council position

Hello I have 2 characters in Sint on Beluaterra.  One of them is the current judge and the other was just elected as the general.  I thought there were restrictions for having 2 characters be in council positions on the same island, much less the same realm.  Does someone know if this was changed?  Thanks for any response.
