??: [Discuss] OOC Ceasefire

Well i must admitt i didn t expected to see this in the discussion list.Hahahhahahahahhahaa

I am pro for OOC cease fire,i ve seeing it for 3 years in this game and even in the war islands that well,they are WAR islands.

So far noone protested against them and so far few said no.Of course it seems that EI is an exception to everything in this game.No roleplay,too much cheating and now complains for ooc cease fires in the discussion list as well.

When the OOC cf was suggested i believe that noone demanded certain dates.There was a suggestion for a 15 days cf but we agreed that this will be discussed and agreed :)

I didn t even said it in realm so we can keep everything calm and not cause too much discussion on this ..but nahhh let s find another arguement to spam the list.

It is a fact that there is a big inactivity during holidays and stoping the war for some days is a benefit to both parts.Also i believe it s a nice opportunity for RP for example,just because wars stop for a small period doesn t mean that the game stops.This is supposed to be not only a game of strategy and battles but of rp as well.And if you ask me....EI needs it! :PPPPP

What is everyone's thoughts on an OOC ceasefire for christmas?  Which is 
currently being discussed on EI.

I understand it started out as just a day or two around christmas, and a 
day or two around new years - now it's blown out to a request for a 
cease fire starting now, ending in the new year.  Or another suggestion 
of 2 weeks.

I'm not sure if I'm being selfish not wanting it - since the idea of 
stopping gameplay for 2 weeks is kind of disappointing to me.  I really 
only spend Christmas Day with my family and go out New Years Eve - but 
perhaps I'm being insensitive to other cultures which may take an 
extended time to celebrate these occasions?

Perhaps turning off the server over the days that people need a break 
for is a better option, since it avoids realms requesting OOC ceasefires 
for an IG reason.  Personally, I wouldn't like it, but then again, I 
don't like an ooc ceasefire either. :P
