Because your CHARACTER doesn't know the title was bought. For all your 
CHARACTER knows, that family was legally entitled to that title the 
entire time, the documents had simply been misplaced.

The game already handles the chance (and there is one!) that the forgery 
fails and is noticed.


There's a reason there is no message to the realm anymore. People used 
to immediately jump OOC, knowing that buying a title is the only way to 
become region lord without being appointed. Now the game appoints you 
without telling anyone.

Frankly, if this discussion goes on any further, I'll add a 14-day 
protection against fines, bans and title doubts to everyone who buys a 
title.
