You are generalizing, and falsely. Your character was bolted for a very 
specific event. BM is not a world of case law, where you can derive the 
rules from whatever happens through the Titans or me.  It works the 
other way around: There are rules and the Titans and Tom enforce them 
and decide how they apply in the specific circumstances of the 
individual case.
