My charachter was lightening bolted for punishing, and the day after that
the new rule was implemented that you cannot punish anyone anymore for
disobedience. I'm pretty sure it's no longer possible to IC regulate it. I
have FELT it.
OK, just read this through, it's fairly simple:
1.You cannot punish anyone for disobedience, in NO possible way. You can't
enforce any orderof anybody anymore.
2.In some cases, it is very handy, no even necessary that the general is
able to tell the realm which unit-types are handy for the battles to come.
It's only logical that the general provides this guidance also besides
suggested settings.
3.Point 2 was forbidden, because everyone must have freedom to chose his
unit-type.
Now since you can't enforce any orders anymore, there will always be freedom
to chose your unit-type. ALWAYS. So, I believe it would be very handy if the
general could mention what unit-type he'd prefer, because it might give the
people some idea of how they could help the realm in the best way. Surely,
they' don't have to, because they still have the complete freedom to chose.
So what has changed?
Nothing, as the result stays the same: everyone still has the complete
freedom to chose his unit-type, but now, the generals can inform their
knights of what would be more efficient. It would help the knights to chose
a unit-type, but it would not FORCE them. (and that was what the rule was
all about right? To prevent people being forced?)
You see my point? I'm trying to make the army run more efficiently for
everyone, while no freedoms are broken.
