[Discuss] Acting/Reacting towards RP = Using OOC knowledge to be ready IG?

Dear all,

I am getting more and more confused over RPing in this game.

I was accused of using OOC knowledge to be ready IG. That sounds so
banable and I don't wanna lose my account, so again I seek your
enlightenment over this matter. Below is what happened without names
involved. I hope to be as neutral as possible in outlying what
happened.

1. Realm A ruler stared RP in rulers' channel against Realm B. The RP
was that Realm B failed to treat their region peasants (those regions
Realm A region before Undeads Invasion), and Realm A is sending in
missionery to investigate.

2. Realm B has a defensive alliance with Realm C. Seeing the
possibility of war Ruler of Realm B wrote to Ruler of Realm C and
demand C to honour their defensive alliance. Ruler of Realm C answered
yes in case war breaks out.

3. Exchange of words (RP) between Realm A ruler and Realm B ruler in
rulers channel, showing the conflict is escalating. In view of that,
Realm C ruler ordered mobilization and have their main army positioned
in a Realm C city closest to Realm A and B.

4. Ultimately Realm A declared war on Realm B, battles fought and
takeover started by Realm A on Realm B region.

5. Realm C lowered relation with Realm A and moved their troops into
Realm A regions. It should be fair to say things look bad for Realm A.

6. Ruler of Realm A stepped down with an OOC message to rulers
channel, the entire content I do not wish to go into but include an
accusation that 'I just wish people could actually keep the knowledge
they learn OOC, OOC and not use it to their advantage IC.'

7. Another Ruler (let's call him D) in the ruler channel later
messaged in the ruler channel accusing 'Someone used OOC knowledge to
be ready IG'.

8. D later in his private message to Ruler of realm C indicating his
accusation (ie. Someone used OOC knowledge to be ready IG) was towards
Realm C. Stating that Realm C involvement is 'too early' and 'If Ruler
of Realm A wouldn't have gone through the trouble of his RP and would
have attacked right away, Realm C wouldn't have been ready to attack
there land right away'

Timeline

1. Realm A RP (Accusation over Realm B) first came 24 days, 14 hours ago.

2. Demand to honour defensive allliance of Realm B was sent to Realm C
24 days, 14 hours ago. (Yes, right after Realm A ruler message)

3. Realm A declared war on Realm B 8 days, 10 hours ago.

4. Realm C lowered relation with Realm A 8 days, 10 hours ago. (After
seeing Realm A action and Ruler A and B message in rulers channel)

5. Realm C army first entered Realm A region and together had battle 3
days, 21 hours ago.

In other words, the RP to war lasted for about 16 days, giving more
than enough time to realms to prepare themselves for war if they see
it a possibility. Realm C attack on Realm A only happened 4 days and
12 hours (9 turns) after Realm A declared war upon Realm B.

I further state that there is no OOC message from Realm A or Realm B
sent to Realm C concerning the war until Ruler of Realm A step down.

For identification purpose, it is suffice to say that I myself play
Ruler of Realm C.

What I do not understand is why my realm's action/reaction according
to RP is accused as using OOC knowledge to be ready IG. If a ruler
started RP suggesting the possibility of war, should it not be natural
that other rulers shall mobilize their army, should they intend to
take side (whether for aggressor or defender) in the conflict? I am
not a RPer myself, but I do react to RP from time to time. Should I
simply treat all RP messages as crap in future and do no IG decision
in relation to such RP?
