[Discuss] Death in BattleMaster

Well, that and a lot of people are just too easily pushed over to step 
down for the benefit of the old guy.

Is the chance higher for heroes? Does a normal soldiers death result in 
a fame point(a new fame point)?

I can actually imagine someone with high swordfighting skill challenging 
new characters to death duels for his own advantage. So they either end 
up dead or staying with low honour/prestige -> more tax for the old guys 
if taxes have a weight on prestige.

This is pretty much the only change I am sceptical about. Your stance on 
refusing duels not costing honour/prestige was a rational and good one 
in my opinion. Or is status also defined by the difference in 
honour/prestige and not just council/duke/local lord positions? Does the 
protection work the other way too? If a king challenges a new noble, can 
the new noble refuse it without honour/prestige loss?
